Short version: no tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies. This website loads nothing from third-party servers. We only receive the details you send us when you join the waitlist.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, via its Cloudflare Pages service. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes technical data that every browser sends: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website securely and to protect it against attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; we have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare that includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Joining the waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we receive the details you enter: first and last name, work email, phone number (optional), company, store URL, shop platform, number of stores, order volume and country. We use them only to contact you about MONET, to check whether your store is a fit and to plan onboarding.

When you submit the form, your details pass through our server at Cloudflare (see section 2) and are stored in a spreadsheet in our Google Workspace account (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd / Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the data on our behalf under its data processing terms; transfers to Google LLC in the USA are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Only the MONET team has access to the spreadsheet. If the form cannot reach our server, it opens your own email program with a prepared message to hello@getmonet.ai instead; nothing is sent until you send that email.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract at your request). We delete your details when you ask us to, or at the latest 24 months after our last contact if no customer relationship has come about.

4. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address and message to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

5. Stored in your browser

The website remembers whether you chose the light or dark version (key monet-modus in your browser’s local storage). This value never leaves your device and is not a cookie. We set no cookies. Legal basis: § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as it is needed for the function you asked for.

6. Fonts, images, videos

All fonts, images and videos are served from our own domain. No connection to Google Fonts, YouTube or similar services is made.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An email to hello@getmonet.ai is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example: Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

8. Changes

We update this policy when the website changes, for example when MONET processes checkout data for merchants. The version on this page applies.
